Every block is a confession. Every stitch tells the truth-except the names, which lie to protect the not-so-innocent.
Virginia's Quilt follows the story of Virginia, a Christian woman whose choices led her down a path of promiscuity and painful consequences. Her life is revealed through a sampler quilt, as seasoned quilter Jill mentors Donna over nine weekly sessions. With each quilt block, Jill unveils a chapter of Virginia’s story—stitching together a narrative of temptation, brokenness, and the reckoning that ultimately must come due.
Ann Locke weaves actual quilt blocks into the compelling story of a Christian woman whose quiet descent into sexual sin challenges her faith, identity, and path to redemption.
Each chapter is titled after an authentic quilt block and accompanied by its color display, gradually revealing Virginia’s thoughtful reasons for each choice.
About Ann Locke
Ann grew up in Ontario, Canada, where a childhood love of books began the day she discovered the library. From Beatrix Potter’s charming tales to Judy Blume, Sweet Valley High, and eventually classics like 1984, Little Women, and Lord of the Flies, each story opened new worlds to her. In her twenties, Ann became born again and immersed herself in the Bible and Christian living. That passion soon turned into writing her own Bible studies—and today, she shares her faith through Christian fiction, weaving strong biblical lessons into every story.
